ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS 

Colour bright deep garnet, with violet notes. The aroma is dominated by blackberry and blueberry, cocoa, cinnamon and liquorice.

 GRAPE VARIETIES

Sangiovese 90%, native red grape varieties 10%.

 VINIFICATION

For 18 months in 25 HL Slavonia oak barrels and in 500 liters French oak tonneaux.

 REFINING

Fining in bottle for 3/6 months.

FOOD PAIRING

Important first courses with game sauce, roasted meat, T-bone steak, game, roast beef, mature cheeses and black chocolate. Service temperature: not less than 18°C.
